Senior Teacher/Curriculum Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Teacher/Curriculum Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general education, with expertise in curriculum development and a passion for fostering students’ academic growth and development. As a Senior Teacher/Curriculum Developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of our students by designing and implementing engaging and effective learning programs.

Responsibilities:
– Design, develop, and write instructional materials or learning materials, including curriculum, in the form of digital materials, workbooks, syllabus & outline, and the like. To support effective teaching and learning, these materials should be accurate, relevant, updated, and aligned with curricular standards.
– Evaluate students’ educational needs and develop curriculum plans tailored to their learning requirements.
– Develop and apply effective strategies for planning and managing developmentally sequenced teaching and learning processes to meet curriculum requirements and diverse teaching contexts.
-Set achievable and appropriate learning outcomes aligned with learning competencies, ensuring student progress and success.
– Select, develop, organize, and utilize appropriate teaching and learning resources, including ICT tools to enhance learning outcomes.
– Adapt and implement learning programs that are responsive to the needs of all learners, including those with diverse learning styles and abilities.
– Execute lesson plans and prepare lesson-related activities that engage students and facilitate learning.
– Update learning content and implement suggested improvements on educational best practices and instructional resources within course project plans and timelines
– Ensure the creation of all learning materials maintains high standards of excellence in design and that all information is current and accessible.
– Observe students and record their behavior and progress to inform instructional practices and interventions.
– Assist students in preparing for tests and assessments, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
– Create a safe and nurturing learning environment where students demonstrate a genuine interest in all subject areas.
– Communicate effectively with students, and parents, fostering positive relationships and collaboration.
– Guide students through their specific program pathways, providing support and guidance as needed.
– Ensure high levels of student and parent satisfaction with the educational programs offered.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
– Valid teaching certification/license.
– Proven experience as a teacher, with a focus on curriculum development and instructional design.
– Strong understanding of educational principles, pedagogy, and learning theories.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
– Proficiency in using educational technology and digital learning resources.
– Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of current educational trends and practices.
