We’re hiring for a Sr. Trainer to collaborate with management to identify company training needs in our distribution department, develop a schedule to assess training needs, plan and implement an effective training curriculum, consult with other managers and leadership.
The Sr. Trainer for Distribution would also oversee and direct individual and team training sessions, lectures, conceptualize training materials based on data and research and communicate training needs and online resources.
About the Role
Collaborate with company leaders and department managers to determine training needs
Assess new employee skills and strengths to provide customized training
Oversee maintenance of training records and resource library.
Design, develop and deliver training and development sessions for new and existing employees thru eLearning and remote to be successful in their role.
Design and develop learning materials including training manuals, visual aids, and other educational material for product and process training
Develop testing, evaluation, and measurement procedures of the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement
Develop process for employee evaluation which will result in marked performance improvement
Analyze departmental performance to see the help training team can give
Demonstrate superior attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Heavy collaboration with cross functional business partners and the ability to influence the outcome of strategic decisions
Qualifications:
Knowledge of adult learning styles, principles and needs assessment.
End to end Training experience.
Knowledge of building and delivering effective e-Learning content through online CRM platform
Experience with LMS systems preferred. (Such as: Moodle, Canvas LMS, Docebo, Talent LMS- preferred)
At least 3-5 years in a Training / L&D environment roles
Experience with technologies and best practices for instructional manuals and teaching platforms
Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
Must be willing to work on graveyard shift (PST hours)
With background training a team remotely
Experience with big and small groups.
Virtual teaching experience preferred.
Self starter, Flexible, curious, can do attitude, connects the dots.
Fluid English.
Experience with Video editing is a must. Editing and Graphic Design (Canva Design) software.
Experience in managing teams is a plus.
