About Us:
We’re a short form video agency specializing in helping large brands convert their SEO written content into short form stories across Instagram, YouTube and Tiktok. As we are rapidly growing, we are looking for a Senior Video Editor to join our team full time to help these brands tell their stories and expand into the video landscape.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual storytelling of our projects. You will be entrusted with editing a variety of video content, ensuring each piece aligns with the client’s brand identity, vision, and objectives. Your expertise in video editing software, combined with your ability to work independently and adapt to client feedback, will make you an invaluable asset to our team and the clients we serve. This is for a full time contract role.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit both long-form and short-form video content using industry-standard software such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or CapCut, depending on project requirements.
Understand and incorporate client-specific brand identity, assets, and guidelines into video edits to create custom, compelling content.
Independently manage video editing projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
Work effectively in a remote setting, maintaining clear communication and collaboration with team members and clients across different time zones, specifically aligning with US working hours.
Create engaging motion graphics and visual effects using Adobe After Effects to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.
Actively participate in client meetings, providing insights, receiving feedback, and making necessary adjustments to video edits to better meet client expectations.
Continuously learn and adapt to new editing techniques, software updates, and industry trends to improve workflow efficiency and content quality.
Requirements:
At least 4 years of experience in video editing, with a portfolio that showcases proficiency in both long-form and short-form content.
Expertise in video editing software, including but not limited to Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and CapCut.
Strong skills in motion graphics and visual effects, particularly in Adobe After Effects.
Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
Experience working remotely and effectively communicating with team members and clients across different time zones.
Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and receptive to feedback, with a keen eye for visual storytelling and a commitment to client satisfaction.
Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to client needs and revisions.
