Hello Video Editors – We Are MTRX, an advertising agency based worldwide. We create ads for your favourite brands, creatives that work and convert for paid media.
And we’re looking for a senior video editor to jump onto the team
Here Are The Key Responsibilities:
– Make 4 concepts a week and have them be absolutely killer (1 Concept is 1 original video + 4 hook variants)
– Help other editors achieve make really good videos
– Help other editors achieve the 4 concepts a week goal
– Keep communication and team morale high
What Will You Be Expecting To Do On A Weekly Basis?
– Making 4 concepts a week
– Leading 2 calls with the editors (Wednesday + Friday)
– Ensuring team is made aware of their weekly responsibilities
– Answering any creative and technical questions from the team
– Reviewing videos 2 times a week and figuring out key mistakes and what can be done better
– Weekly call with Hamza to figure out what can be improved, how we can be better etc
– Not every week but often creating better documentation and SOPs which will help further editing team and build a better documentation system so we continue to level up the editing.
-Communicating with the creative team for script changes
– Ensuring team is satisfied and happy
What Is The Ideal Persona?
– Minimum of 2 years of Video Editing Experience.
– Strong understanding of paid media, UGC, and content conversion on Facebook & TikTok.
– Previous agency experience.
– Enjoy brainstorming ad angles and bringing concepts to life.
– Ability to anticipate future trends and viral videos.
– Success in identifying and collaborating with other editors to increase video quality
– Detail-oriented, organised, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
– Open-minded and willing to learn.
– Comfortable communicating with both team members and clients.
– Hungry to grow and build a team
