ROLE:
This role will be working directly for our portfolio company and is responsible for ensuring we are consistently uploading YouTube videos to our channels that are SEO-optimized to the teeth to pull in as much organic traffic as possible.
This position will work with other positions such as video editors and graphic designers who are passing you video files and thumbnail files and you’re going to need to be able to flow with them in order to keep our video uploads consistent across one or more channels you’ll be working to help grow. Consistent uploading is key.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensuring our YouTube channels have new videos uploaded to them consistently that are resulting in engagement on the videos themselves and new subscribers.
Execute the optimization side of the YouTube video uploading process to position our videos in front of traffic targeting relevant keywords our customers are searching for.
Work closely with our graphic design and video editing team to ensure you have all the assets you need in order to get our videos uploaded quickly with the right pieces.
Consistently stay on top of competitor YouTube channels to bring us new ideas of content our team can be creating so you’re bringing in fresh ideas regularly.
Stay up to date with the types of questions and keywords our target audience is typing into search engines and what kinds of products they’re purchasing in the niche we’re reviewing so you can bring profitable ideas to the table for future video ideas.
Regular input on how we can better optimize our systems and make them more effective to ensure we have high-quality videos uploaded on a consistent basis.
RESULTS:
Consistently upload videos to our Amazon Associates account as soon as our editor has completed them. You’ll be provided a training on how to do this.
Upload the same videos to a YouTube account that have our Amazon Affiliates (different than associates) URL attached to the product review videos. Again, you’ll be provided with training on how to do these uploads.
Create a monthly posting schedule so we know what’s going to be published at least one month in advance in each YouTube channel.
Provide 10+ relevant keywords each day of other content topics competitors in our space have created content on that we can recreate for our brand.
Stay up to date with YouTube feature changes that affect the uploading process and tell us how we can take advantage of them to get better results for our videos.
Increase revenue on the channels by effectively positioning affiliate links, adsense ads, etc. while ensuring videos are optimized to pull in organic SEO traffic.
REQUIREMENTS:
Direct experience working with faceless YouTube channels.
Direct experience driving clicks via organic YouTube SEO.
Direct experience working in the organic SEO industry.
OPTIONAL BUT RECOMMENDED: Graphic design & video editing skills
5+ years of hands-on experience in video marketing / video SEO roles
A robust experience of driving customer traffic via organic video marketing.
Proven track record of driving Adsense earnings, leads, and sales from video.
Proficiency in YouTube channel optimization, SEO-optimized video uploading, spying on competitor YouTube channels, video SEO knowledgable
Experience in picking video topics and new keywords to go after based on what’s trending in the marketplace and what’s performing well for competitors.
Proficiency in the YouTube dashboard (and relevant 3rd party tools) to use analytics to make data-driven-decisions that will help our channel scale and grow.
SALARY:
$5/Hour with potential for raises and bonuses.
We pay out WEEKLY, not biweekly like most companies.
We also round up so if we owe you $77 for example we’ll send $80.
As you grow in this position you can also enter into more of a managerial role where you have a higher hourly pay for leading a team under you who is helping you execute.
