We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Developer/Designer to lead our web development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining visually stunning, highly functional will be involved in both the design and development process, working closely with the Lead Designer and Marketing Team to understand their needs and goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in web development and design, with a strong portfolio showcasing their skills.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with lead designer and marketing team to understand their website needs and objectives
Design and develop visually appealing and user-friendly websites
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
Implement responsive design techniques to ensure websites work across multiple devices and platforms
Create and maintain website content, including text, images, and multimedia
Ensure websites are optimized for search engines and follow best practices for SEO
Debug and troubleshoot website issues as they arise
Stay up-to-date with the latest web design and development trends and technologies
Set up and manage Shopify stores
Design and develop marketing funnels
Lead and Mentor Junior Developers
Manage Timelines for multiple projects
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or a related field
5+ years of experience in web design and development
Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
Experience with PHP, WordPress, Shopify, and other CMS platforms
Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and best practices
Experience in leading and managing web development projects and teams
Knowledge of SEO best practices and optimization techniques
Experience in designing and developing marketing funnels
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
A strong portfolio showcasing previous web design and development work
Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, XD and or Fimga
