Position Overview:
As a Website Developer at Better Image Solutions (BIS), you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining WordPress websites for our diverse range of clients. You will be tasked with creating a scalable system to efficiently develop multiple unique websites each week, utilizing templates, color schemes, and a modular approach.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites for BIS clients.
-Design and implement a system for rapid website production, focusing on scalability and efficiency.
-Create and manage templates, color schemes, and modular components.
-Ensure websites are visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive across various devices.
-Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other team members to deliver high-quality websites.
-Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website performance, security, and functionality.
-Stay updated with the latest web development trends, tools, and technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
-Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience in web development with a strong focus on WordPress. Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver multiple projects on tight timelines.
– Technical Proficiency: Expertise in WordPress, including theme and plugin development. Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; familiarity with PHP and MySQL is a plus. Experience with website builders and frameworks.
– Design and Usability: Strong understanding of UX/UI principles. Ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly website interfaces.
– Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent troubleshooting abilities and a proactive approach to solving issues. Ability to adapt to changing requirements and work efficiently under pressure.
– Communication and Teamwork: Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Good verbal and written communication skills, able to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience with SEO best practices and website optimization.
-Familiarity with Agile or similar project management methodologies.
-Understanding of website security practices.
