Role Description:
As a Senior WordPress Developer at Stone Digital, you will:
– Deliver high-quality, custom WordPress solutions tailored to client requirements.
– Develop custom WordPress themes from design mockups in Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch.
– Create and modify plugins while adhering to WordPress best practices.
– Integrate various third-party APIs into WordPress sites.
– Engage directly with clients to manage relationships and ensure project alignment with client goals.
– Collaborate with our team to drive innovation in web development processes and technologies.
Requirements:
– Minimum 3 years of experience in custom WordPress development.
– Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript.
– Strong skills in developing custom AJAX functions and page templates.
– Experience with BEM methodology for CSS.
– Familiarity with Sydney working hours (at least 5 overlap hours with 9am-5pm AEDT).
– Strong communication skills for direct client interaction and internal collaboration.
– Problem-solving prowess and a keen eye for detail.
Highly Regarded:
– Experience with Git and GitHub for version control.
– Proficiency in SASS, SCSS, and other CSS preprocessors.
– Knowledge of advanced SQL and database management.
– Familiarity with Shopify, Liquid templating, and .
– Ability to manage PHP packages via Composer in WordPress contexts.
– Skills in vanilla JS and an understanding of Google Analytics, SEO, and goal tracking.
