SEO and Social Media Wizard

Outsource My Business is an Australian-based outsourcing company. We recruit and manage Filipino contractor staff on behalf of Australian small and new businesses. Our goal is to help small businesses scale cost effectively by outsourcing and create win-win situations for Filipino staff who wish to have the flexibility to work from home.

We’re looking for a part-time work from home virtual assistant with skills and experience in both SEO and social media management. The ideal candidate would have higher levels of expertise in SEO than social media management. The successful candidate will be the first hire in this role, hence the experience requirements.

Skills, character and expertise required:
– Excellent written and verbal English. Video meetings may be required with other staff.
– Minimum of 3 years working on SEO techniques (on-site + off-site)
– Not afraid to ask questions. We’re an easy going company and want to make sure you’re comfortable with your role.
– A minimum of 12 months history managing social media platforms, ideally Facebook and Linkedin.

Key responsibilities:
– SEO for our company site.
– Managing social media channels. This includes creating content and posting.
– Send a daily report (on the days you work)
– Measure the success of social media growth and SEO progress.

Other requirements
– Timeproof will be required for the role. We’re not looking to work with agencies as we want someone dedicated to helping us grow the online presence rather than someone working on many projects at once.
– Some form of backup internet. Mobile hotspot is accepted.
– Internet speed check. Download minimum of 50mbps. Upload minimum of 20mbps.
– Computer with at least 8gb of RAM.

Other details:
Start date – asap.
Working days/hours – We prefer that you work on Mondays, but we will allow you to choose what days you work and how many hours on those days you work. We simply require that you work 20 hours per week.
Salary – To be paid fortnightly through Wise or Easypay. If you have another preferred method we can discuss.
Filipino public holidays – You can take any of these off with pay.
Holiday and sick leave – 5 days per year each with pay.
13th month pay – payable after 3 months of probation.
