Job Description:
Goodly Growth is seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Junior SEO Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a basic understanding of SEO who is eager to learn and grow in a full-time remote role. The ideal candidate will have a hunger to learn SEO and a passion for digital marketing.
Responsibilities:
Perform keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner and Ubersuggest
Optimize website content for target keywords
Conduct technical SEO audits and implement basic SEO fixes
Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Create and optimize Google My Business listings and manage local citations
Assist in the development and implementation of link building strategies
Generate basic SEO reports to track performance and progress
Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of SEO principles and best practices
Understanding of on-page SEO elements such as title tags, meta descriptions, and headers
Familiarity with keyword research tools
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS (knowledge of Duda is a plus)
Ability to understand website structure and interlinking
Basic knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Ability to generate basic SEO reports
Familiarity with Google My Business and local citation management
Good English reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills
Tech-savvy with a strong desire to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
Ability to differentiate between guest posting and link building/outreach
