Let’s get down to business. The criteria for the person we’re looking for are below:
– Fast Internet: You have your own computer and high-speed internet connection
– English: You can Speak, Read and Write well in English
– Able to work from home without distractions
– Skype: Can communicate via this method
– PayPal Account: You have or can set up your own PayPal account
– Eager to Learn New things
– Fast Learner & Open to be trained in other skills
– Full-Time: You are able to work 40 hours per week
YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
1. Have excellent skills in speaking, reading and writing in English
2. Strong organisational skills
3. Strong knowledge of English grammar and figurative language
4. Strong research skills
5. Working knowledge of WordPress
6. Able to work with and communicate well with developers or IT staff to assess or
troubleshoot any technical issues with content on our websites.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
– Researching different fields related to the blog task at hand (though initially it will be more geared towards primary school and high school education).
– Compose 500 – 1,500 word blog posts and designs of images in Canva.
– Ensuring blog posts are either US or Australia-centric with US or Australian spelling and grammatical conventions and units of measurement according to the requirements of the task.
– Creating monetisation links and creatives for the website.
– Perform SEO tasks on a WordPress site and optimising sites for SEO.
– Occasionally assisting in other departments
– Assistance in the creation of SOP’s
– Miscellaneous activities that fosters the growth of Titan College and our other web assets and that which promotes the ends of our staff and students
