Overview
Moss Amigos, the leading provider of low-maintenance, high-aesthetic moss ball plant terrariums, is looking for a skilled SEO Content Writer to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, remote position based in the Philippines, perfect for someone passionate about plants, home decor, and enhancing digital content through SEO best practices. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving our brand’s online presence, focusing on improving our website’s visibility, engagement, and domain authority.

Salary
$1,000USD monthly

Location: Must be based in the Philippines and comfortable working remotely. Access to a reliable internet connection and the ability to maintain regular communication with the team.

Key Responsibilities
– Content Creation & Management: Craft engaging, SEO-optimized content for our blog sections: Plant Store of the Week, Moss of the Week, Marimo/Moss Ball Blog, Home Decor Blog, and Advice Column. Ensure content aligns with our playful, engaging brand voice while providing valuable information to our audience. (5 Blog Posts a Week)
– SEO Strategy: Utilize SEO tools like Ahrefs for keyword research, competitive analysis, and tracking page rankings. Implement on-page SEO techniques to improve content visibility and drive organic traffic.
– Shopify & Gem Pages Expertise: Manage content directly on our Shopify platform, utilizing Gem Pages to design and optimize landing pages that enhance user experience and conversions.
– Research & Fact-Checking: Use research methods to source accurate, authoritative content that boosts our domain authority. Ensure all content is factually correct, relevant, and positions Moss Amigos as a leader in the plant and home decor industry.
Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with the marketing team to align content with broader marketing strategies. Monitor and report on content performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to meet SEO goals.
– ChatGPT Proficiency: Must be proficient in using ChatGPT for research, content ideation, and fact-checking to ensure content accuracy and innovation. Access to company ChatGPT is provided.

Requirements
– Experience & Skills: Proven experience in SEO content writing, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. Expertise in SEO tools (Ahrefs preferred), Shopify, and Gem Pages is essential. Excellent research and fact-checking skills, with the ability to use ChatGPT effectively for content creation.
– SEO Knowledge: Deep understanding of SEO principles, including keyword research, competitive analysis, and on-page optimization. Familiarity with Google Analytics and other SEO performance tracking tools.
– Creativity & Innovation: Creative thinker with a flair for crafting engaging content that resonates with our target audience. Ability to translate complex information into easy-to-understand, engaging content.
– Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
