About the Job
Are you passionate about writing high-quality content that matches user intent, and optimizing your headers for easy page crawling? DDM is looking for a talented SEO blog writer to help our growing team optimize the website pages and other types of digital content of our clients. We are seeking an SEO who can look at a set of keywords, figure out what someone searching for those phrases wants to know, and write it clearly and succinctly. A good SEO writer also must be able to use keywords effectively to help the reader find their content in search engines. In this role you will be responsible for various writing tasks, including social media content, website copy, show notes, newsletters, blog posts, and other written content for our clients. You must be creative and honest with exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Writing search engine optimized copy
Optimizing current copy on a client’s website (page titles, Meta descriptions, h1s, alts, anchor text, etc.)
Blog writing and posting
Backlinking
Keyword research
Rank analysis
Content marketing strategy analysis

Recommended Skills

Proven experience as a copywriter or related role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of SEO and how it applies to content marketing
Basic knowledge of HTML
Knowledge of analytics tools like Google and Bing analytics.
Degree holder with at least 2-4 years of relevant work experience
Self motivated, organized, accountable, and can communicate effectively while working within tight deadlines
