We are seeking a highly skilled Content Writer to join our team to expand our blog about Career Development. The content writer will play a crucial role in developing and implementing content strategies that drive engagement, traffic, and conversions for our blog. Our main topics on our blog include career advice, interview tips, resume writing, leadership, productivity, workplace issues etc. Our articles typically range from 1500-2500 words, depending on the complexity of the topics.
There will be a 1 to 3 months trial period. If you pass this trial period, you will be entitled to annual salary increment and 14 PTOs per year.
Key responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute content strategies that align with our goals and target audience.
2. Write, edit, and proofread content for multiple platforms, including website, blog, social media, and newsletters.
3. Incorporate SEO best practices into content creation to drive organic traffic.
4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and identify opportunities for new and engaging content.
5. Market research, idea generation, and content planning
Skill set:
– Proven experience as a content writer
– Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt writing style for different audiences and platforms
– Ability to work independently
– Proficiency in SEO best practices
– Strong project management and organizational skills
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills
– Ability to stay updated with industry trends and best practices in content marketing.
– Write perfect American English as our main audience is American
– Can write articles in the following style:
/advice/everything-you-need-to-know-about-putting-in-two-weeks-notice
This style includes statistics and expert quotes to support the main points. Sometimes you also need to incorporate first-hand experience in the article to satisfy E-E-A-T requirements from Google.
Experience:
– Preferably Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in content writing
– Portfolio of published writing samples in various formats and styles.
– Familiarity with industry-specific topics and trends.
