SEO Content Writer (Lawyers Only)

Organix Media is a digital marketing agency located in Montreal, specializing in SEO and web design for lawyers and law firms. We are currently looking for an experienced SEO Content Writer who is also a lawyer to join our team. You will be responsible for creating high-quality blog posts for our clients, in French and English languages, that range between 1000 to 5000 words each. They will need to be aligned with our Content Creation SOP, SEO Guidelines, and Writing Guidelines. You will need to know the CANADIAN law, and you will need to know or learn about QUEBEC’s Civil Code as our clients are located in the province of Quebec.
All posts should be optimized for SEO according to our provided SEO guidelines and uploaded in WordPress, ensuring they are visually appealing and reader-friendly. Within each post, highly credible external links should be inserted, as well as internal links according to our internal linking strategy. You will not be responsible for the strategy or the keyword research, but you should be able to work with your team, understanding the basics and how to apply them. We encourage a SMART use of ChatGPT in assisting with content creation; however, we will need you to add your personal touch to make every post distinct, captivating, and especially error-free.
Our ideal candidate would have this profile:
– Lawyer: Qualified attorney well-versed in Canadian law. Familiarity with Quebec’s Civil Code is a plus, but willingness to learn it over time is acceptable.
– Bilingual: Fluent in both French & English with stellar communication skills.
– Efficient: Produce quality work quickly, excelling in time management and prioritization.
– Autonomous: Self-driven and can operate without consistent oversight, not requiring guidance for every minor detail.
– Attention to Detail: Mastery over grammar and adherence to writing guidelines.
– SEO Savvy: Understand and implement SEO best practices, even though we provide guidelines.
– Tech Savvy: Proficient in WordPress; familiarity with AI writing tools like ChatGPT and Notion is a plus.
– Passion for Learning: Stay updated with digital trends and keen on skill enhancement.
– Positive Attitude: Bring a constructive and upbeat spirit to our team.
