We are looking to hire an organized, detail-oriented, loyal, and hardworking self-starter SEO content writer to create content for lead-generation websites. The content writer’s responsibilities include Researching industry-related topics, content writing, link building, citations, etc. You should also be able to follow editorial guidelines when creating content.
To be successful as a content writer, you should keep abreast of the latest SEO techniques. Ultimately, a top-performing Content Writer should be able to contribute to the development of strategies that will increase reader engagement.
We are a fast-paced company with quickly shifting priorities, so flexibility and understanding are a must.

Responsibilities:
• Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics to develop original content.
• Developing content for company websites and blogs
• Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
• Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
• Conducting keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website.
• Identifying customers’ needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company’s current content.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Proficient in American English with an understanding of grammar rules and how to construct clear sentences.
• Being mindful of things like flow, readability, and sentence variety
• Computer literacy, as content writers use computers to create projects and to communicate with their team.
• An understanding of search engine optimization best practices
• Experience in creating content for WordPress, link building, citation, etc.
Requirements:
• Proven work experience as a Content Writer, copywriter, or similar role. At least 2 years of SEO writing
• Portfolio of published articles
• Experience doing research using multiple sources.
• Familiarity with web publications
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to type at least 40 WPM.
Expectations:
• Part-time first, might be developed into a full-time position after three months.
• Able to work 3+ hours a day (later developed into full-time)
• Can work continuously with high internet speed
• You will be working in the Philippines hours, so no overnight shifts!
• Starting salary: $4USD/hour
• We will have a 14-day trial period
• Emergencies happen but if absences become a pattern then this job is not a great fit. Otherwise, we are very easy to work with/for
