SEO Expert

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SEO Specialist to join our startup company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies to drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and maximize online visibility for our website(s) and digital assets. You are also responsible with providing a realistic timeline for SEO projects. The SEO Specialist will collaborate with the CEO and Project Manager to optimize website content, conduct keyword research, monitor performance metrics, and stay updated on industry trends and algorithm changes.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
Perform keyword research to identify high-value target keywords and optimize website content accordingly.
Conduct on-page and off-page optimization activities, including optimizing meta tags, headings, content, and internal linking structure.
Collaborate with the team to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into website design and content creation processes.
Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms to track key metrics such as traffic, rankings, and conversions.
Identify technical SEO issues and provide recommendations for website improvements, including site speed optimization, mobile-friendliness, and crawlability.
Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in SEO and search engine marketing.
Generate regular MONTHLY reports and communicate SEO performance insights, recommendations, and progress to stakeholders.
Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities and benchmark performance against industry leaders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall digital marketing initiatives and business objectives.
Identify overall SEO project timeline

Requirements:

Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role, with a track record of driving measurable results through SEO initiatives.
In-depth knowledge of SEO principles, best practices, and techniques.
Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or similar platforms.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make data-driven decisions.
Can provide sample works/portfolio.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
Up-to-date knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and industry trends.
Certification in Google Analytics, SEO, or other relevant certifications is a plus.
