SEO Expert Applicant – Google Maps Listings Specialist

We are a small, dynamic digital marketing agency based in the United States. We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Google Maps Listings Specialist to help our clients’ businesses appear in the coveted map pack and improve their local search visibility.

Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in optimizing Google Maps listings (Google Business Profiles) and a proven track record of improving local search rankings. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing Google Maps listings, ensuring all local SEO best practices are followed, and identifying opportunities to enhance local search performance.

Responsibilities:

Local SEO Optimization:

Optimize and rank Google Maps listings (Google Business Profiles).
Perform local citations and Google Cloud stacks.
Utilize web 2.0 properties, social bookmarks, blog commenting, and map embeds to improve local search visibility.
Technical SEO:

Ensure NAP (Name, Address, Phone Number) consistency across all listings and citations.
Optimize Google Business Profile descriptions, categories, and services.
Upload and optimize images and videos for Google Business Profiles.
Manage and respond to customer reviews on Google Business Profiles.
Monitor and fix any issues related to Google Business Profiles.
Content & Link Building:

Create and implement a local content strategy to boost local search rankings.
Develop engaging and SEO-friendly content for local audiences.
Build and manage local backlinks to improve domain authority.
Requirements:

Proven experience with Google Maps listings (Google Business Profiles) and local SEO.
Strong understanding of local SEO best practices and the latest algorithm updates.
Working knowledge and experience with Local Viking.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Availability to work from 9am – 5pm EST Monday – Friday (9pm – 5am PHT Monday – Friday).
