Position: Technical SEO Specialist
As a Technical SEO Specialist, you will be the specialist for optimizing the architecture of our major websites, which collectively host over 20 million URLs. You will collaborate closely with the project manager and the rest of the SEO team.
Core Competencies
Your primary focus will be on Technical and OnPage SEO. You will focus on website audits, schema markup, crawl budget optimization and other technical SEO aspects. Your role will also encompass OnPage elements like meta tags, header tags, and internal linking strategies. You should be up-to-date with the latest trends in Technical SEO, including Core Web Vitals, mobile-first indexing, and server-side rendering. You will also be driving our AI projects forward and have been very involved with different AI’s over the last few months.
Responsibilities
– Technical audits and implement fixes for SEO issues across our websites.
– Utilize tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMRush, and Ahrefs for performance monitoring and strategy optimization.
– Produce regular reports to track KPIs and SEO performance.
Qualifications
– A minimum of five years of experience in Technical and OnPage SEO.
– Proven track record of managing large databases of URLs.
– Proficiency in SEO tools like GSC, GA, SEMRush, Ahrefs, and SimilarWeb.
– Strong skills in Google Sheets for data analysis.
– Exceptional English communication skills.
– Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
– Expertise in areas like Keyword Research, Crawl Budget, Hreflang, CSR/SSR, Canonical Tags, XML Sitemaps, and International SEO.
– Familiarity with cloud-based crawling tools.
Working Conditions
Flexible working hours with a preference for meetings on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Team coordination via Slack is essential.
Compensation
Payment will be processed via bank transfer or PayPal upon monthly invoicing. Specifics will be discussed during the interview.
