Contractor opportunity with a fast moving, technology-focused US company!
We are seeking an experienced SEO candidate to join our growing team. In this position, you will work to drive organic traffic to our site and improve our organization’s search engine results. You should have an in-depth understanding of SEO strategies, knowledge of multiple analytic and tracking tools, and experience in creating progress reports to share with team members and senior leadership in order to create original SEO optimal content and web and social campaigns to engage our audience and boost traffic.
SEO Duties and Responsibilities
Perform search engine audits to understand the current state of a client’s web presence
Perform keyword research to inform a solid search strategy
Create thorough and effective search engine strategies
Create search timelines, calendars, and goals.
Collaborate with developer and content teams to align SEO strategies.
Create engaging content with optimal SEO keywords and phrases.
Create and execute a backlink strategy that generates traffic and higher rankings
Work with the marketing team to implement and deploy strategic plans.
Optimize existing web content to improve search rankings
Present SEO effective headlines, body copy, CTAs, and tagging system.
Create and implement pay-per-click strategies, campaigns, and ads.
Provide strategic direction to understand the clients analytics needs.
Build complex reporting in Google Analytics to help measure results and track progress.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s (BA or BS) in marketing or related field; or equivalent experience /certifications.
Five years of previous experience in SEO, marketing, or related field.
Successfully completed several large related projects in the past with exceptional results.
In-depth understanding of Google Analytics and other SEO services, online tracking tools, webmaster tools, back-end SEO, and metadata.
Experience in cultivating SEO keywords and phrases to drive web traffic.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel); understanding of HTML, CSS, and managing programs such as Salesforce.
Strong project management skills with the ability to supervise multiple projects.
Experience identifying and creating campaigns for target audience engagement.
