At Ranked, we build and rank many local websites in Australia.

We are looking for an On-Page SEO expert who can research, plan, create, and optimise SEO service pages and blog content for websites.

You will be equipped with SEO tools such as SurferSEO, AHREFS, Semrush, and others that provide extensive guidance.

Here are a few examples of keywords and target locations our websites commonly focus on:
”Home Builder + Melbourne”
“Tree Removal + Sydney”
“Electrician + Suburb”
“Roof Repair + Suburb”
“Financial Advisor + City or Suburb”

This job will primarily focus on researching, creating and optimising SEO pages on WordPress websites and working with blog creation teams to deliver high-quality content.

You will research competitors, examine the world’s top-ranking English websites, assess their URL/Permalink structure, and plan and create website service pages on our websites.

Your job will be to either create the text for these pages from scratch or enhance and edit current pages based on their rankings and performance.

To increase rankings, you will manage basic on-page SEO activities, such as SEO Titles, meta descriptions, content, blog strategy, FAQ creation, internal links, and keyword strategy.

Must-Have Ability:

– At least 2 years of proven on-page SEO ability with English websites
– Strong written English
– Confident in WordPress to make basic edits with common page builders such as Beaver Builder or Elementor
– Optimising copy and landing pages for search engine optimisation with the “Google Helpful Content” algorithm in mind
– Ability to plan and enhance blog & article creation, with direction of headings and subheadings – to be created by our dedicated blog writers
– Ability to audit poor-performing pages, enhance, cull, or provide action strategy
– Performing ongoing keyword research, including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities
– Researching and implementing content recommendations for organic SEO success with the use of TFIDF (SURFER SEO)
– Keyword research, & ability to identify and target specific keywords that potential customers use to search for products or services. (SEMRUSH, AHREFS or other)
– Competitor and URL structure research & plan website URL structure, including keyword-centric permalinks(Screaming Frog, Semrush, AHREFS or other)
– Main page & landing page content creation with correct keyword densities (TF-IDF). (SurferSEO, ChatGPT & WebPilot, Grammarly).
– Create & deploy an effective internal link plan

Requirements:

– Proven experience in this space
– Knowledge of SEO on-page ranking factors
– Skill in strategically placing keywords in titles, headers, meta descriptions, and throughout webpage content without over-optimization.
– Understanding how to create optimised content for search engines and user experience.
