SEO Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced SEO Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the Head of SEO, this hands-on role involves planning, implementing, and managing our company’s overall SEO strategy. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing our website’s visibility in search engines, driving organic traffic, and contributing significantly to our overall digital marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute successful SEO strategies in collaboration with the Head of SEO to improve search rankings and drive traffic.
* Conduct thorough keyword research in line with our business objectives and target audience.
* Optimize website content, landing pages, and paid search copy to improve rankings and user experience.
* Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g., link-building).
* Collaborate with content marketing and blog contributors to create high-quality content around important, relevant terms.
* Manage and improve organic search engine performance based on click-through rates, traffic, and conversions.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO and digital marketing trends and changes with search engine algorithms.
* Analyze and report on the performance of SEO strategies, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to drive growth.
* Work closely with the web development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.
* Manage freelancers where necessary

Qualifications:
* Proven experience as an SEO Manager or similar role with a track record of developing and executing SEO strategies that have increased traffic and revenue
* At least 5 years experience in the SEO sector
* Experience of using generative AI
* Hands-on experience with SEO analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, WebTrends, SEMrush, Ahrefs) and SEO tools (e.g., Moz, Screaming Frog).
* Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices along with keyword research and analysis.
* Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to drive meaningful actions from large data sets.
* A strategic mindset, with the ability to make difficult decisions based on data and analytics.
