We are seeking an experienced SEO Manager to join our dynamic team. The SEO Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies to improve our organic search rankings, drive traffic to our website, and increase conversions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO best practices, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of success in managing SEO campaigns across various industries.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic search traffic, improve rankings, driving conversion and growth;
• Lead the implementation of strategies, ensuring KPIs are met
• Conduct keyword research to identify high-value keywords and optimise website content accordingly;
• Perform on-page and off-page SEO optimisation, including but not limited to meta data, headers, URL structures, internal linking, and backlink acquisition;
• Conduct competitor analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for our clients’ SEO efforts.
• Work closely with the content team to develop effective content strategies and evaluate content quality from both editorial and SEO perspectives.
• Monitor and analyse website performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, AHREFs, Screaming Frog, SEMrush etc;
• Provide regular performance reports and insights to clients, highlighting key SEO metrics, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in SEO to ensure our strategies remain effective and competitive.
• Collaborate with the wider PTP team to implement SEO recommendations and initiatives.
• Keep up to date with emerging technologies and tools in the SEO landscape, recommending and implementing new strategies or tools as necessary.
• The ability to install and configure tracking across GA and GTM including variables, triggers and tags.
ABOUT YOU
• Proven work experience as an SEO Manager or similar role, preferably in a digital marketing agency setting.
• Proven experience in creating and developing effective SEO strategies
• In-depth knowledge of SEO techniques, algorithms, and best practices.
• Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog etc.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate SEO strategies and results to clients.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Certifications such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, or SEO-related certifications are a plus.
• A data-driven mindset that can successfully analyse and interpret data to demonstrate ROI.
