Job Description

Job Summary: The SEO Manager will be responsible for conducting keyword research, suggesting website changes to enhance SEO, acquiring backlinks, and consistently working to improve rankings for both existing and new keywords. This role requires a deep understanding of SEO best practices, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities for organic growth.
Suggest website changes to improve SEO, including on-page optimization, meta tags, and site structure.
Acquire high-quality relevant/trusted backlinks through outreach, content marketing, and other strategies.
Get posts on relevant blogs and websites to increase domain authority and drive traffic.
Collaborate with the content team to suggest content ideas and provide SEO guidelines.
Work with the content person to ensure existing pages are updated and optimized based on current SEO best practices.
Identify pages to improve, update, or remove using tools like Google Search Console and other SEO software.
Monitor and analyze website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other tools.
Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
Provide regular reports and insights on SEO performance and progress.

Main KPIs:
Keyword Rankings: Improve rankings for targeted keywords and achieve higher positions in search results.
Organic Traffic: Increase organic traffic to client websites through effective SEO strategies.
Backlink Acquisition: Secure high-quality backlinks to enhance domain authority and search engine rankings.
Content Optimization: Ensure all content is optimized for SEO, resulting in improved search engine visibility.
Website Performance: Monitor and enhance website performance, including loading times and user experience.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as an SEO Manager or similar role, preferably in a remote setting.
Strong understanding of SEO principles, strategies, and best practices.
Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
Experience with keyword research, on-page optimization, and link-building strategies.
Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and results.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with technical SEO and website audits.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
Understanding of other digital marketing disciplines, such as PPC and social media marketing.
