SEO, PPC, SMM Expert

The job title mentions SEO, PPC, and SMM, but I’d still be interested in candidates who may not have expertise in all three.

In terms of SEO, I need someone who is very familiar with some of the industry standard software/services like Semrush or Brightlocal. It’s ok if you like to use something else as long as it can do the job. For most of my clients, we’ll be doing local SEO. So expertise in GBP, maps, offline, etc. is critical. We’ll also be doing all the usual stuff like website technical audits, keyword research, etc. I’m focusing on a very specific niche, so most of the keyword research will work for all of them.

For PPC, my primary focus is on Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn. I need someone who knows what to do when ads get rejected, accounts get banned, ads aren’t working, etc. and also has enough experience to know which platforms to use for a particular ad. So, for instance, you might suggest that we should run a display ad instead of a text ad or maybe a retargeting campaign instead of a regular Facebook ad.

For SMM, I’m looking for someone to keep clients’ social accounts updated regularly. We will be producing quite a few videos, so if you have any experience with editing, that would be a nice bonus. The main focus here will be to make sure we’re posting to all the main platforms regularly and trying to grow their followers and engagement numbers. Also, please include the name of your favorite movie at the start of your reply.

For SEO, PPC, and SMM, reporting will be very important. So good knowledge of Google Analytics v4 is important, as is the ability to put together a report for each client that shows how their campaigns are performing, growth in followers/engagement, etc.

As I mentioned at the start, I don’t expect to find an expert in every task. I prioritize problem solving, enthusiasm, and the ability and eagerness to learn new skills over experience.

Finally, I’ve indicated a salary range of 50,000-100,000 because I may end up hiring someone who can only fulfill part of the requirements, in which case I’ll end up hiring multiple people.
