SEO Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior SEO Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in SEO strategies and digital marketing, with a minimum of three years of direct SEO experience. This role involves working closely with the SEO Manager to develop and implement SEO strategies that increase our web presence and drive traffic.

Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and executing effective SEO strategies in collaboration with the SEO Manager.
Conduct keyword research to guide the content teams.
Analyze website traffic and user engagement metrics, and prepare detailed monthly reports.
Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across major search channels.
Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
Manage and optimize on-page and off-page factors, including meta tags, headers, and URL structures.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and SEO best practices, adapting strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to align SEO strategies with content creation and campaigns.
Assist in managing social media accounts to support SEO strategies.
Address ad-hoc SEO queries and provide solution-oriented feedback to the team.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
A minimum of two to three years of experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
Strong understanding of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and various SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
Proficient in keyword research and data analytics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with HTML/CSS and website administration.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
Basic understanding of PPC campaigns.
