SEO Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SEO Specialist to join our team. As an SEO Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients’ online presence and driving organic traffic to their business websites. You will be responsible for developing and executing effective SEO strategies that align with each of our client’s business objectives and improve their search engine rankings.

Wage:
$8 USD per hour
We have several clients that require SEO services so there is opportunity for more hours depending on the candidate’s work quality and availability.

Responsibilities:

– Conduct comprehensive keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for organic traffic growth.
– Optimize website content and structure to improve search engine visibility and user experience.
– Perform on-page and off-page SEO activities, including link building and outreach.
– Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-friendly and engaging content.
– Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and Google Analytics.
– Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
– Provide regular reporting on SEO performance, including traffic, rankings, and conversions.
– Identify and resolve technical SEO issues that may impact site performance.

Requirements:

– Proven work experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
– In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
– Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush
– Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and website structure.
– Experience with website optimization, keyword research, and content strategy.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Excellent communication, proficiency, and collaboration abilities.
– Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO.

Please note we use SLACK as our method of communication between our team.

Reporting:
The selected candidate will be required to provide regular reports on the SEO initiatives they have implemented. These reports should include details on changes made, the outcomes of those changes, and any notable developments in search engine rankings, organic traffic, and conversions. Reporting frequency and format will be discussed and agreed upon with the candidate upon joining the team.
