Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated SEO Specialist to develop and implement effective search engine optimization strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research, and technical SEO, and will be responsible for improving our website’s visibility and driving organic traffic.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct keyword research to identify relevant and high-performing keywords for our industry.
2. Optimize on-page elements, including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, and content, to improve search engine rankings.
3. Ensure the website is mobile-friendly, fast-loading, and technically sound.
4. Develop and implement a local SEO strategy to enhance our presence in the Melbourne area.
5. Create and submit a sitemap and manage the file.
Build high-quality backlinks through various off-page SEO activities, such as guest blogging and partnerships.
6. Manage and optimize our Google My Business profile and ensure consistency across local citations.
7. Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
8. Conduct regular SEO audits and implement necessary improvements.
9. Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
2. Strong understanding of SEO principles, algorithms, and best practices.
3. Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, etc.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
