Job Description

Animas Centre for Coaching, a UK based training provider, are seeking a part-time SEO Specialist to join our marketing team for 20 hours per week.

The SEO Specialist role is a technical role focused on optimisation rather than content creation. The role contributes to the success of our digital marketing initiatives and the achievement of our business goals by increasing website engagement, conversions, and results. They are responsible for strengthening the online presence and improving the digital performance of our company by implementing strategic SEO initiatives which enhance website visibility, drive organic traffic, and deliver an optimised user experience. The SEO Specialist ensures that our digital assets rank prominently in search engine results pages and effectively attract, engage, and convert our target audience.

Tasks and Responsibilities

The SEO Specialist is responsible for:
-Collaborating with our content team by managing the technical aspects of building a content ecology for our websites, with 4 levels of SEO:
–Level 1: The main Diploma course page and additional pages – optimising these pages for search.
–Level 2: Blog content that supports those pages directly with multiple internal links pointing to the page we are targeting.
–Level 3: Content that supports the main blog posts with related content whilst also pointing to the course page.
–Level 4: Posts that target non-essential keywords but yet build our credibility and link to other posts
-Continuously improving the user experience (UX) and overall usefulness of our web pages to drive increased engagement, conversions, and results, through implementing SEO optimisations, refining website structure and navigation, and optimising content to achieve SEO objectives.
-Developing and executing a comprehensive backlink strategy to enhance domain authority, improve search engine rankings, increase website credibility, improve search engine rankings and increase online visibility. Driving greater organic traffic and engagement through strategic link-building initiatives and partnerships with relevant websites and online platforms.
-Measuring, analysing and reporting on SEO performance and KPI, and refining strategy and activities to improve search engine rankings, increase organic traffic, and enhance website visibility and user engagement.
Providing a user-friendly monthly report for the leadership team, focused on outcome-related KPI

Tasks

-Monitor website traffic and performance using analytics tools.
-Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities.
-Review and optimise meta tags, headings, and content on web pages.
-Monitor search engine rankings and track keyword performance.
-Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO alignment in content production.
-Perform technical SEO audits to identify and address website issues.
-Review and analyse
-Conduct in-depth website audits to identify areas for improvement.
-Review and optimise website structure and navigation for SEO.
-Review and performance reports to track progress and identify trends.
-Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities and benchmark performance.
-Review and refine SEO strategies based on performance data and insights.
-Conduct outreach for link-building opportunities and partnerships.
-Update and optimise internal linking structure on the website.
-Review and optimise website content for SEO.
-Prepare monthly SEO performance reports for the leadership team.
-Respond to algorithm updates and implement necessary changes.
-Address technical issues and errors identified through monitoring.
-Investigate and address any sudden drops or anomalies in website performance.

Key Performance Indicators

Inputs
-Establish baseline ranking
-Set 6 month targets for traffic, rankings and % visibility
-Create reporting
-Create list of Levels 1, 2 and 3 content suggestions for the content team
-Site health at 95%
-Zero errors and less than 50 warnings on GSC
-Ensure redirects for any deleted pages from search
-All main pages plus all new blog posts at 80% or higher RankMath score
-5 active backlink opportunities per month
Output
-Improvements in average rank across core set of keywords
-Improvements in specific rankings
-Increase in organic traffic
-Increase in traffic conversions

Team and Collaborators
The SEO Specialist reports to the Managing Director. They collaborate with the Community and Communications Manager, and the Web Developer to achieve their shared outcomes of publication of optimised content, search engine ranking, and overall site health.

Other Requirements

As this is a remote overseas role, applicants must have access to a PC or laptop, and a good internet connection.

Key Information

Location: Remote
Hours: Part-time 20 hours Monday to Friday, ideally working during UK business hours (negotiable)
Starting Salary: 40,000 PHP monthly (paid fortnightly)
Payment frequency: 14th and 28th of each month
Benefits: Contribution to PH health insurance after one year of employment
Paid Leave: 25 days per year

This is a part time role but may later be extended to full time if appropriate, and for the right candidate.
