SEO Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Off-Page SEO Specialist to join our team and help us achieve top rankings in search engines for cannabis-related keywords. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive off-page SEO strategy to increase website traffic, brand awareness, and organic leads.

Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth competitor analysis to identify link-building opportunities.
Build high-quality backlinks from relevant websites in the cannabis niche.
Develop and implement outreach strategies to secure backlinks from journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
Monitor and track the performance of backlinks and SEO campaigns.
Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and algorithms in SEO, specifically within the cannabis industry.
Generate reports to measure the success of SEO efforts.
Assist with on-page SEO tasks as needed.
Qualifications:

Minimum 2+ years of experience in off-page SEO.
Proven track record of success in building high-quality backlinks for websites in the cannabis niche (experience in other competitive niches is a plus).
Strong understanding of SEO best practices and Google’s Search Quality Guidelines.
Experience with SEO tools and platforms (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz).
Excellent communication and outreach skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and a data-driven approach.
Passion for the cannabis industry and a deep understanding of its regulations and compliance issues.
Bonus points:

Experience with content marketing and link-building strategies specific to the cannabis industry.
Experience with influencer marketing in the cannabis space.
Knowledge of SEO for e-commerce websites (if applicable).
Familiarity with technical SEO concepts.
