**The SEO Specialist Role
Your day will consist of driving more traffic to the company’s website and improving the ranking of G&G’s content in search engines by analyzing and reviewing SEO metrics and dashboards and implementing changes to those pieces of content and sites through better search strategies. Think the Yoda of SEO tactics!
To be successful in this role, you should have the heart of a problem solver and a knack for diving into the analytics to take relevant and impactful action across various platforms. Ultimately, you will help assess the health of our organization’s SEO and implement strategic SEO tactics to elevate our business to the next level.
**What you’ll do
-Assist in developing optimization strategies that increase the company’s search engine results rankings
-Research SEO keywords to use throughout the company’s website and marketing materials
-Set measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in marketing efforts
-Continually check search terms, rankings and analytics to monitor the performance of websites and make recommendations for improvement
-Efficiently communicate and collaborate with the marketing team to align goals and manage the SEO strategy
-Write compelling and high-quality website content, including blog posts and page descriptions
-Update content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine rankings
-Assist in other marketing-related tasks

**Qualifications:
-Proven SEO experience of at least 2 years
-High level of competency in understanding ranking factors and search engine algorithms
-In-depth experience with website tools (e.g, Google Analytics, WordPress)
-SEO writing or copywriting skills is a huge advantage
-Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO
-Results-oriented with good analytical skills to identify areas of improvement
-Strategic and thorough with campaigns or programs to be implemented
-Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
-Experience with A/B testing
-Strong English skills in both verbal and written communications
-Experience with advertising platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads)
-Proven spreadsheet experience required and experience with writing and manipulating formulas preferred (e.g, Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel)
-Experience with SEMRush preferred
