Job Role and Summary

JetRank is looking for a Search Engine Optimization Specialist to increase search engine rankings and traffic to our client’s websites. Your primary goal is to increase traffic through search results, so your tasks will involve keyword research, informed content development, and link building. Our ideal candidate is a digital marketing expert who can create content and strategy to increase our client’s online visibility significantly. Applicants should be comfortable with CSS, HTML, and Google Analytics to assist with strategic page layout changes.
We’d love for you to join our team, develop long-lasting relationships, and create a win-win environment. You must provide case studies, SEO audits, or proof of your work.

Candidates without case studies wouldn’t be reviewed. You must also provide examples of your work, such as SEO Strategy, Keyword Research, Link Building plan and execution, and On-Page SEO plan and execution. The inability to share examples of your work will disqualify you.

You must be hardworking and willing to gain knowledge and improve your skills. We value people and your work. Bonuses and training classes for you to grow and expand will be included after six months of work.

A. Duties and Responsibilities

Ensures that the websites under the responsibility and care of the specialist is fully optimized and is being optimized constantly
Coordinates with content creators/writers in producing quality content for the website and its advertisements
Ability to create content
Creates, develops, and executes tests to gauge the website’s current returns on investment (ROI) and trends
Provides weekly or monthly reports for the campaigns and SEO initiatives required of the investor or the client
Establishes, maintains, and sustains key business relationships with the client, account manager, and other individuals important for the project or the campaign
Develop and implement link-building strategy through white hat SEO techniques including: guest post outreach, niche edits, and other common SEO link-building strategies
Performs On-Page SEO optimizations, including broken link correction, keyword density, TF*IDF analysis, Schema Markup, etc.
Manages important citations and directory listings for clients with proper NAPW
Perform keyword research, selection, and testing using SEO software such as ahrefs and SEMrush.
Develop content using keywords to increase website traffic
Make strategic changes to page design and layout
Perform routine SEO audits and assist with website maintenance or error corrections.
Provide optimization, ranking, and analytics reports on a weekly/monthly basis.

B. Skills
Must be capable of creating and editing innovative and creative content to ensure a constant stream of trend-worthy information
Should be adaptable to learning new trends in the digital market and the SEO industry as a whole
Must be goal-oriented, detail-oriented, and well-organized in working
Experience with Google Analytics (certification a plus)
Digital marketing experience
Copywriting experience
Familiarity with CSS and HTML (preferred)
Communication skills
Organizational skills

C. Qualifications
Must have at least a bachelor’s degree in programming, information technology, marketing, and any other relatable fields
Should have at least two-plus years of experience working in the SEO, digital, and other industries that are relatable
Must have good English. Upper-intermediate level.
2+ years experience with HTML, CSS
A passion for deep analysis of web technologies & SEO
A strong understanding of search engine crawlers
Experience in/familiar with canonicalization, client & server-side redirects, pagination, crawl budget, XML sitemaps
Technical auditing experience on small to large websites, both static and dynamic
Ability to recognize common technical issues and explain their solutions coherently, ensuring that clients and teammates understand the recommendations
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues on sites with thousands of pages
Ability to research technical issues and make actionable and well-informed recommendations based on your findings
Comfortable retrieving and analyzing data from Google and Bing Webmaster Tools
Advanced Google sheet skills (pivot tables, look-up function and conditional functions)
Structured markup understanding
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
