SEO Specialist / Blog Manager

Hello! I’m looking for an experienced SEO specialist to help develop a mom-inspired blog! This role will primarily assist with:

– Building out a new blog for an established mom influencer with the goal of driving affiliate revenue through Amazon, LTK, and other platforms
– Work on other SEO projects in a startup agency setting including conducting SEO analysis for potential clients and implementing recommendations

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and serve as an expert SEO specialist that can help drive SEO strategy for new and established businesses.

Job Description:

– Work 10-15 hours per week – make your own schedule (no specific hours required)
– Conduct keyword research and write 1-2 blog posts per week around mom topics and write from a feminine tone
– Link building, SEO outreach to increase site traffic
– Make edits and design updates to WordPress site
– Conduct SEO audits on client websites and provide recommendations on how to improve rankings
– Understand key local SEO strategies for service-based businesses.
– Use Chat GPT where applicable

The right candidate will:

– Have at minimum 2 years of on-site/off-site SEO experience with case studies / examples of how they’ve been able to increase website traffic through SEO
– Have 1 year experience with WordPress, preferably with Elementor as well
– Have experience with third party tools such as SEM Rush and Hrefs.
– Have your own computer and strong video connection
– Be a self-starter and enjoys working on their own
– Be organized and willing to document all tasks and use project management software
– Add banana to the end of the subject line when replying to this job
– Have strong critical thinking skills and be able to make recommendations for improvement
– Have strong English writing skills

Note – While the job does not have any required work times, time will need to be coordinated for period meetings via video conferencing.
