Job Description

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in Search Engine Optimization. Candidates should have an understanding of current SEO best practices, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google My Business, Bing Webmaster Tools & Bing Business Pages. Your ability to succeed is dependent on being motivated, willing to learn, and focused on continuous improvement with an excellent ability to communicate your vision through a number of business channels. We offer an open, collaborative environment designed to promote the exchange of new ideas.

Schedule: 8:00 – 16:30 CST, Monday-Friday

***Responsibilities:

SEO Specialist
– Manage MP1 and other unbranded web assets we have
– Report on analytics for the above sites, eventually for , and current status of engagement with any web/SEO agencies.
– Link outreach/syndication
– Some light web development work

QUALIFICATIONS:
– A graduate with Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any course
– 2 years of SEO experience is required
– Strong interest in Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
– Basic Knowledge of local SEO best practices & on/off-site strategies
– Intermediate knowledge of Google Analytics/Bing Webmaster Tools
– Understanding of Google My Business/Bing Business
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Effective analyzing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
– Proficient in Microsoft and Google Drive applications
– Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
– Must have excellent oral and written English communication skills

Additional Qualifications (A plus but not Required):
– Google Analytics Certification
– Experience with SEMRush software
– Experience with CRM software
– Light HTML/CSS experience

Basic Technical Requirements:

• Your own laptop/desktop PC with backup. The following minimum specs: i5 5th gen; 8GB RAM; Mozilla or Chrome installed
• A consistent and stable internet connection with a minimum of 20Mbps with a backup internet connection
• Backup power source
• Noise-canceling headset/headphones
• A quiet and dedicated workspace at home
