Key Responsibilities:
Keyword Research and Analysis:
Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-performing keywords and phrases relevant to our industry.
Analyze competitor keywords and strategies to identify opportunities for improvement.
Develop and maintain a keyword strategy to drive targeted organic traffic.
On-Page SEO Optimization:
Optimize website content: including meta tags, headers, URLs, and images, for targeted keywords.
Ensure all website pages are optimized for search engine crawlers and user experience.
Implement schema markup and other advanced on-page SEO techniques.
Off-Page SEO Strategies:
Develop and execute off-page SEO strategies: including link-building campaigns, guest blogging, and social media outreach.
Monitor and analyze the backlink profile to ensure quality and relevance.
Collaborate with influencers and industry partners to enhance the company’s online presence.
Content Strategy and Optimization:
Collaborate and possibly act as a content creator to develop SEO-friendly content that aligns with the overall marketing strategy:
Optimize existing content for search engines and identify opportunities for content improvement.
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new content strategies as needed.
Technical SEO:
Conduct regular website audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues, such as crawl errors, broken links, and site speed issues.
Work closely with the web development team to ensure SEO best practices are implemented in website design and development.
Implement and manage tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and other SEO software.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms.
Provide regular reports on SEO performance, including traffic, rankings, and conversion metrics.
Identify areas for improvement and adjust strategies accordingly.
Additional Tasks:
1. Social Media Management:
– Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
– Create and curate high-quality, engaging, and brand-aligned content for social media channels.
– Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications to stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments.
– Engage with the online community, respond to comments, and build relationships with followers to foster brand loyalty.
– Analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize reach and engagement.
– Schedule content rotations and postings
2. Content Writing:
– Produce compelling and SEO-friendly content for the company’s website, blog, capability statements, brochures, newsletters, and other digital platforms.
– Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content calendars and ensure timely delivery of content.
– Conduct thorough research to create informative and valuable content that resonates with the target audience.
– Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in tone and style.
4. Project Management:
– Plan, coordinate, and oversee marketing projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
– Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and other stakeholders, to execute marketing campaigns.
– Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure efficient project execution.
– Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
– Prepare project reports and presentations for management review.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
– Work closely with the marketing team to align social media, content, and SEO strategies with overall marketing goals.
– Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels.
– Provide regular updates and insights on social media, content, and SEO performance to the marketing director.
