SEO Strategist & Executive
Full-time contract role – $1000 per month – 37.5 hours per week
We are an SEO agency that are looking for an experienced SEO Strategist/Executive to join our team.
Some details about the role are included below.
Experience and skills required:
-Conducting comprehensive SEO website audits
-SEO performance tracking and reporting (GSC, GA, Ahrefs, looker studio)
-Keyword research and developing keyword strategies that align with client goals
-Regularly updating tracked keywords, tagging keywords, and ensuring strategies continue to align with progress and client goals
-Competitor analysis, including content gap analysis, and creating detailed spreadsheets highlighting competitor’s content strategies
-Content auditing and content strategy creation
-On-page SEO implementation, including metadata (optimising to improve CTR), schema markup, HTML titles, alt text, image resizing
-Keyword mapping
-Content mapping, topical mapping, topic clustering
-Internal linking (auditing, strategy, and implementation)
-Highly proficient using google sheets, to generate comprehensive reports and strategies
The following are useful but not essential skills:
-Basic understanding in off-page SEO
-Basic understanding in technical SEO
Experience in the following tools/software is required:
-Ahrefs
-Screaming frog
-Google search console
-Google analytics
-Google looker studio
-Wordpress
-Shopify
-Experience in other CMS platforms or willingness to learn is beneficial
-Google sheets/docs/drive
-Experience using project management software (we use teamwork)
General skills and requirements:
-High attention to detail
-Great communication skills
-High proficiency in English (written and spoken)
-Willingness to learn and develop their skillset
-Ability to QA and review own work once completed, before handover
We are a small, friendly agency that works with a range of e-commerce clients. This role is completely remote, and the specific working hours are flexible around time zones, but require a minimum crossover of 4 hours each working day between 9am – 6pm UK time.
The role is 4.5 days per week (we work a half day on Fridays).
