SEO Technician

An opportunity exists to join our high performing marketing team as an SEO Specialist. We are seeking an individual with a high level of technical expertise and analytical skills to join our team as a remote team member. You will play a crucial role in working with our team optimising our clients websites, driving qualified sales leads, particularly through search engine optimisation and search engine marketing.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting detailed research on specific topics and relevant keywords to identify new opportunities and audiences using tools such as SEMRush and Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
Analysis using Google GA4 to report on lead attribution and conversion rates by campaign and source.
Identifying trending, high-volume, and niche keywords for our Search Engine Marketing campaigns.
Analysis of competitors’ keyword strategies to implement improvements across our strategies.
Coordinating and managing organic search strategies.
Analysing search results, web traffic data, ad performance, and SEO/SEM trends to inform strategies.
Working with web developers to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented.
Identifying and fixing technical issues that could impact search engine indexing and ranking.
Workign with White Hat techniques
Working on offsite and onsite SEO.

The successful candidate will have the following as a minimum requirement:

Proven experience in a similar role, specifically around SEO/SEM and web search strategies.
Proficiency in Google platforms such as Analytics 4 (GA4), Console and Merchant (Google Certification is desirable).
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Ability to prioritise with outstanding time management skills.
Resilience and maturity with the ability to work within a collaborative team.
Ability to work in a fast-paced ever-changing environment.
