SEO Technician

Role (Overview Of The Position):
This position involves supporting the SEO team through content writing for client’s SEO
campaigns as well as individual SEO tasks associated with our client’s SEO campaigns.

Responsibilities (Tasks Associated with The Role):
• SEO Content Writing: Responsible for writing 500+ word articles to support a
client’s SEO ranking efforts.
• Collaboration: Meet with the SEO team each week to identify what content
needs to be written, who will write what and how to break up the tasks each
week.
• Research: Responsible for researching the category and/or topic being written
about and/or requesting additional information from direct supervisor.
• Google My Business Management: Responsible for scheduling posts, replying
to reviews and scheduling photo uploads in client’s Google My Business
listings each and every month.
• Citation Creation: Responsible for creating client business citations across the
web-based on what is assigned by the SEO Manager
• Branded Social Profile Creation: Responsible for creating social profiles for
clients SEO campaigns based on what is assigned by the SEO Manager
Results (Expected Accomplishments):
• Provide written articles and tasks in a timely manner (no longer than one week
from request unless otherwise noted)
• Work with direct supervisor to ensure all projects are being executed on time
• Look for additional education opportunities as they arise and make them
known to direct supervisor
• Complete all work to the best of your ability using correct grammar, correct
terminology and according to project specifications
• Work with the SEO team to identify areas of improvement in our processes
and update accordingly

Requirements (Expected Proficiencies):
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of modern writing styles
• Excellent communication skills and ability to relay ideas clearly
• Ability to juggle multiple projects at once
• Ability to problem-solve and provide effective solutions to issues as they arise
Compensation:
• Compensation for this role will be paid at $8/hour USD with the opportunity
for pay increase based on performance.
