Insyte Web Solutions is a startup digital marketing agency that specializes in providing both web design and SEO services for small businesses. We build and optimize websites for clients in many different industries – anywhere from plumbing and tree services to wedding photography and pet grooming.
We’re looking to add a web developer to our team that will help us build and optimize websites for our clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a web developer on our team, you will have the opportunity to design and build new websites, diagnose and fix technical problems with existing websites, and help optimize websites for SEO. You will be provided with web content, images, and general guidance for the website design.
Your main responsibilities will include:
– Setting up the website within the hosting platform
– Designing each page of the website
– Building the website
– Helping to perform technical SEO audits of websites and fix technical issues
– Optimizing websites for SEO (updating metadata, image tags, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS
To do this job, you will need:
– Exceptional Web Development Skills (HTML, CSS, etc.)
– SEO Experience
– WordPress Experience
– Very Good Web Design Skills
As stated above, it is critical that you have excellent web development skills, as you will be fully responsible for building the websites. While we will give some general guidance on web design, we are looking for someone who can take the lead on designing the website as well. You do not need to be an expert in graphic design, but you should know how to build an aesthetically pleasing website, incorporate color, implement proper spacing with images and text, and so on. You also need to understand how to build a responsive website, and you must be able to optimize the design for both mobile and desktop usage.
We also need a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision. Most of the work will be done on your own, so it is important that you are comfortable working independently.
OTHER INFORMATION
As a startup, the amount of work we have varies. We will need help on an as-needed basis, meaning some weeks/months there will be more work than others (especially at the beginning). Over time, the work will be more consistent, and the goal is that this will become a full-time position in the future.
