Server Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Server Administrator with a strong background in configuring servers for web environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Digital Ocean and AWS, possess proficiency in Linux environments, and demonstrate expertise in web development. The position also requires the candidate to have good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

– Configure and maintain servers on Digital Ocean and AWS platforms.
– Implement and manage firewalls, ensuring the security of our web infrastructure.
– Perform domain configuration and management.
– Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
– Work closely with the web development team to optimize server performance for websites and applications.
– Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues.
– Implement and maintain Load Balancers to ensure optimal distribution of web traffic.
– Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of server configurations.
– Proactively identify potential issues and suggest improvements for system performance and reliability
– Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
– Proven experience as a Server Administrator, with a focus on web infrastructure.
– Preference given to those with knowledge and experience in web development
– Strong proficiency in Digital Ocean and AWS platforms.
– Expertise in Linux server environments.
– Experience with firewall configuration and domain management.
– Knowledge of Load Balancer configurations for web applications.
– Knowledge of operating systems, network protocols, and virtualization technologies
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
– Knowledge of Microsoft server environment is a plus.
– Type of Work: Full Time/Remote
– Starting Salary: Php30,000.00
– Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm
