Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service/Repair and Aftersales Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CVC systems, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering top-notch service to our clients. This role requires excellent organizational skills to manage engineers’ schedules, coordinate with the warehouse and other departments, and ensure seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Engineers’ Diary: Organize and manage the schedules for our team of engineers to maximize efficiency and service coverage.
• Schedule Servicing and Repairs: Coordinate and schedule all service and repair appointments, ensuring timely and effective customer service.
• Parts Coordination: Ensure the warehouse is stocked with the correct parts needed for service jobs in Tim and Argyll.
• Promote Servicing: Actively promote our servicing options to clients to ensure their systems remain in optimal condition.
• Liaise with Internal Office: Coordinate with the internal office team to book accommodations and travel arrangements for engineers as needed.
• Efficiency Reports: Provide detailed reports on operational efficiency, including service times, repair outcomes, and customer satisfaction.
• Aftersales Support: Contact clients after service completion to offer service contracts and ensure continued customer satisfaction.
• Compliance: Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and control systems.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle scheduling and coordination tasks.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers, team members, and other departments.
