Shipping Specialist

I. JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Post-Closing Manager, prepares and ships closed loan packages to investors.

II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Audits and uploads a minimum of 12 new loan files per day.
• Audit and upload all MCC packages and bundles to state agencies.
• Accurately updates Encompass with regard to missing loan documents.
• Notifies and continuously follows up with responsible party to obtain missing/and or corrected documents.
• Prepares shipping checklists, tax sheets and investor required documents for each file.
• Selects bundling option in e-folder for each file and saves bundles into desktop shipping folder.
• Inputs shipped and packaged date into Encompass.
• Sends required documents to attorneys for review and certification.
• Follows up with branches on escrow repairs.
• Communicates with Secondary regarding expiring locks, as needed.
• Assists with the training of new shipping clerks.
• Maintains a professional image and adheres to standards consistent with company policies and procedures.
• Must follow up on and confirm uploads for bundles is received after upload to confirm they are submitted and received successfully with investor.
• Maintains a professional image and adheres to standards consistent with company policies and procedures.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

III. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years mortgage related experience required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Team player.
• Ability to adapt quickly to a rapidly changing environment.
• Exhibit excellent PC skills.
• Demonstrated ability to perform a number of complex tasks simultaneously and effectively.
• Must be able to work regularly scheduled hours, arriving at scheduled reporting time and at the prescribed time after any breaks or lunch periods.
• Must be able to work overtime on short notice, as required.
