We are seeking a talented and creative Shoe Designer and Graphic Artist to join our design team. As a Shoe Designer with expertise in graphic design, 3D modeling, Photoshop, and illustrations, you will play a crucial role in the conceptualization, design, and development of innovative and visually appealing shoe designs.

Responsibilities:

Conceptualize and develop unique and marketable shoe designs that align with current fashion trends, brand aesthetics, and target audience preferences.
Collaborate closely with the design team, product managers, and marketing teams to understand design requirements and develop design concepts that meet business objectives.
Create detailed sketches, renderings, and illustrations of shoe designs using traditional and digital techniques, ensuring accurate representation of design concepts and specifications.
Utilize graphic design software, including Photoshop and Illustrator, to develop visually stunning designs, patterns, and colorways for footwear.
Translate 2D designs into 3D models using 3D modeling software, such as Autodesk Maya or Rhino, to visualize and refine shoe designs.
Collaborate with product development teams to ensure technical feasibility and proper execution of design elements during the manufacturing process.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in shoe design, graphic design, and illustration techniques, and apply them creatively to enhance design processes and outcomes.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer preferences, competitor offerings, and emerging market trends, and incorporate these insights into design concepts.
Maintain accurate documentation and design archives, including sketches, renderings, digital files, and technical specifications, to support design iterations and future reference.
Effectively communicate design concepts and ideas to cross-functional teams, including design reviews, presentations, and design documentation.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, fashion design, or a related field.
Proven experience as a shoe designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing original shoe designs and graphic artwork.
Proficiency in graphic design software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, with expertise in creating detailed illustrations, patterns, and colorways.
Strong 3D modeling skills using software such as Autodesk Maya, Rhino, or equivalent, with the ability to translate 2D designs into realistic 3D models.
Excellent artistic and sketching abilities to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts visually.
Knowledge of footwear design, construction techniques, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Understanding of current fashion trends, consumer preferences, and market dynamics in the footwear industry.
Strong attention to detail, with a keen eye for aesthetics, color, and form.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate ideas and concepts.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
