Shopify Content & Operations VA

We are looking for an experienced VA – Ecommerce/Shopify Content & Operations

– Product management in Shopify
– Writing and editing product descriptions, website copy, and other marketing materials
– Copy & paste information from organized information in Notion
– Image downloading, image background removal, image resizing, image compression, image renaming, image uploading to a cloud shared drive, adding product to Shopify catalog
– Uploading blogs and editing content
– Copy & paste information from organized information in Notion
– Set up hyperlinks in the content
– Email Marketing Operations
– Assisting with??email management and other administrative tasks as needed

Prerequisites of the ideal candidate:

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills with fluent English
– Effective organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
– Ability to follow a process, but also show initiatives and make decisions or ask the right questions when something doesn’t make sense or can be improved
– Able to learn processes quickly and complete tasks with a high level of accuracy and speed.
– Previous experience in eCommerce as a VA
– Previous experience with managing product information in Shopify.
– Previous experience with simple image tasks like resizing, size compression.
– Expertise with social media platforms and posting/monitoring tools.
– Experience with SEO and SEM is a plus
– Experience with Planoly, Canva, Figma, and Notion is a plus

We value learning and will provide free training videos to help you learn tools and advance in digital marketing. You will also have access to me to ask any questions you may have.

To begin, this role will be projected-based. A good communicator with effective delivery and great initiatives will have a long-term collaboration as the business grows. Employment will start with a test project to assess performance.

The starting pay will be $5 USD/hour with the opportunity to increase with exceptional performance.
