Job Description:
We are on the lookout for a talented Shopify Developer with extensive knowledge and experience in Shopify’s platform and ecosystem to expand our e-commerce development capabilities. Initially offered as a part-time role, there is a potential for this position to become full-time based on performance and project demands.

Responsibilities:

* Work closely with our design team to translate website designs into fully-functional Shopify stores.
* Customize Shopify themes to create visually appealing, responsive, and user-friendly e-commerce sites.
* Develop custom Shopify apps and integrate third-party apps to enhance site functionality and user experience.
* Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability.
* Maintain site compatibility across different browsers and devices.
* Identify and resolve issues related to the Shopify platform.
* Keep abreast of the latest e-commerce trends, strategies, and Shopify platform updates.
* Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines and objectives.

Requirements:

* Demonstrated experience as a Shopify Developer with a strong portfolio featuring Shopify-based projects.
* Proficiency in Shopify’s Liquid programming language, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and API integrations.
* In-depth understanding of the Shopify platform, including theme development and customization, app development, and third-party integrations.
* Keen eye for detail with the ability to create high-quality, visually appealing e-commerce sites.
* Excellent problem-solving capabilities and the ability to troubleshoot and debug issues effectively.
* Strong communication skills and the capacity to work well within a team environment.
* A proactive and self-directed approach to work.
* Familiarity with other e-commerce platforms and development tools is advantageous.

Duration and Compensation:
This position is initially part-time, with the opportunity for increased hours and transition to full-time depending on performance and business needs. Compensation details will be discussed during the interview process and will reflect the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
