We are on the lookout for a highly skilled and experienced Shopify Developer to be a part of our vibrant team.

This role is ideal for individuals with a profound passion for the Shopify ecosystem and a deep comprehension of ecommerce best practices. As our Shopify Developer, you will be instrumental in creating features and websites, employing the most advanced front-end technologies. The nature of this role involves working on multiple websites concurrently; hence, excellent time management and multitasking are crucial. We are looking for someone looking to grow long term with the team. A passion to stay ahead of the curve with new Shopify releases, best apps, best practices, and a proactive display of initiative will help you be successful in this role.

Responsibilities:

– Offer technical support and insights to the continuous scope of work which includes app recommendations, third-party integrations, and comprehensive technical specifications.
– Architect, develop, test, and deploy novel components and site features for Shopify stores in collaboration with internal and external designers.
– Convert Figma, PSD, and other mockup files into immaculate front-end code.
– Propose both long-term solutions and immediate fixes for common maintenance requests.
– Customize Shopify themes and modify pre-existing ones based on project scope.
– Juggle multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.

Skills and Requirements:

– Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in the Shopify environment, specifically in developing custom Shopify themes; agency experience will be a distinct advantage.
– Mastery in Shopify Liquid template language and proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Familiarity with Click to view and/or Click to view will be advantageous.
– Experience with the configuration and customization of loyalty, reviews, subscription, bundle, and any other leading/popular Shopify apps.
– In-depth understanding of Git version control system and responsive development best practices.
– Solid background in performance-centric development and optimization.
– Comprehensive knowledge of Shopify, its API/Application ecosystem, and familiarity with WCAG and accessibility best practices.
– Exceptional time management, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
– A fervent passion for front-end architecture and continuous learning of new technologies.
– Ability to work autonomously, make informed decisions, and communicate effectively under stringent deadlines and challenging situations.
– At least 2-hour overlap in working hours with Central Standard Time (GMT -05:00), preferably in mornings from 9:00AM-11:00AM CST.
