Shopify Developer

Our client for this role is a top e-commerce UX design and development firm. They work with some of the fastest growing DTC brands.

You’ll work closely with their founder and design team to create and optimize e-commerce sites. You’ll have the chance to make a significant impact on various projects with plenty of opportunity to grow.

**Need to have qualifications:**

– Proven experience in Shopify theme development and customization
– Strong understanding of Shopify’s programming languages and ecosystem
– Proficiency in translating designs from Figma Dev Mode to Shopify themes, with an emphasis on replicating design systems accurately
– Experience with app integration and customization within Shopify
– Ability to work with a variety of apps and pick up new technologies quickly
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
– Familiarity with Asana or similar project management tools

**Nice to have:**

– You’re using AI to help you coding efficiency
– Experience using Click to view
– Experience in creating custom Shopify apps

**Responsibilities:**

– Collaborate with brand designers to develop and launch new e-commerce sites on Shopify
– Customize Shopify themes to match styles from a design system, ensuring consistency and optimal site performance
– Translate designs from Figma into fully functional Shopify sections, maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail
– Optimize existing Shopify sites for clients, including launching new products, creating landing pages, and conducting A/B tests
– Work with a variety of subscription apps and other tools, demonstrating the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly
– Provide ad hoc development support for ongoing client projects on a retainer basis
– Communicate effectively with the project management team to ensure timely delivery of tasks
