Job Title: Shopify Engineer

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Shopify Engineer to join our team. As a Shopify Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and exceptional consumer purchase experience on our Shopify platform. The ideal candidate should have at least 5+ years of experience in Shopify development, with strong knowledge of Liquid and a passion for optimizing performance.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the development team to design, build, and maintain our Shopify website, ensuring a smooth and user-friendly online shopping experience.
• Implement and customize Shopify themes, templates, and plugins to meet our business requirements and enhance website functionality.
• Optimize website performance, including page load times, responsiveness, and overall user experience, to drive customer satisfaction and conversions.
• Work closely with the design team to translate visual assets into functional and aesthetically pleasing Shopify elements.
• Ensure the website is mobile-friendly and responsive, catering to the growing number of mobile users.
• Conduct regular testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues related to the Shopify platform and third-party integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product teams, to implement new features and promotions effectively.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Shopify development, continually seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Maintain a high level of code quality, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Monitor website performance metrics and use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

Requirements:
Must-haves:
• Minimum 5+ years of proven experience as a Shopify Engineer, with expertise in Liquid and Shopify development.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce and consumer purchase behavior, with a passion for delivering an exceptional online shopping experience.
• Proven track record of optimizing Shopify websites for performance, speed, and responsiveness.
• Proficiency in customizing and integrating Shopify themes, templates, and plugins.
• Knowledge of Shopify’s API and ability to work with third-party integrations.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design and user experience.
• High-energy and growth-minded individual, always seeking ways to enhance skills and contribute to the team’s success.
• Ability to work in the EST time zone from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Portfolio Guidelines:
• Kindly provide examples of Shopify Stores that you have constructed or optimized, preferably in the direct-to-consumer (D2C) e-commerce sector.
