We are seeking a talented and experienced Shopify Developer to join our team (part time first then into full time if good enough). As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for taking Figma designs and converting them into fully functional and high-performing Shopify websites using Shopify Liquid. As well as developing sections within the website for brands that use us on a monthly basis.
Your primary focus will be on Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and optimising the speed and performance of our Shopify websites.
Responsibilities:
– Convert Figma designs into responsive and user-friendly Shopify websites using Shopify Liquid.
– Collaborate with the design team to ensure accurate implementation of the visual design elements and functionality.
– Optimise the performance and speed of Shopify websites by analyzing and improving code efficiency, image optimization, caching, and other techniques.
– Implement A/B testing and analyse user behavior using analytics tools to identify areas for improvement and increase conversion rates.
– Develop custom Shopify themes and templates to enhance the overall user experience and functionality.
– Troubleshoot and debug issues related to Shopify code, ensuring smooth website operation.
– Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in Shopify development, CRO, and website optimization.
Requirements:
-Proficient in Shopify development, including expertise in Shopify Liquid.
– Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
– Experience in working with Figma designs and converting them into Shopify websites.
– Solid knowledge of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) principles and techniques.
– Proven experience in optimizing website performance and speed in Shopify.
– Familiarity with Shopify themes, templates, and app integrations.
– Ability to troubleshoot and debug Shopify code effectively.
– Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
– Strong communication and collaboration skills.
– Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience with Shopify app development.
– Knowledge of SEO best practices for Shopify websites.
– Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React or .
– Understanding of web accessibility standards.
