Shopify Ecommerce VA for Agency Serving the Fashion & Retail Niche

We are an ecommerce and digital marketing agency focused on driving growth for Shopify retailers. We are proud to work with many women-led businesses, primarily fashion & lifestyle brands. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized Ecommerce Virtual Assistant (VA) to join our team. As our VA, you will be working with us to support the day-to-day operations of our agency, including Shopify websites, email and digital marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate should have a passion for ecommerce, good design, be highly organized, love spreadsheets, and possess excellent communication skills.
Primary Responsibilities: We urgently need a partner to support in these areas 🙂
* Build beautiful email newsletters using platforms such as Klaviyo and Seguno.
* Import and create products in Shopify. Organize images, assign categories, tags, SEO fields, and metafields based on our instructions.
* Manage large catalog databases with thousands of products. Execute bulk edits and import / exports using spreadsheets and formulas (must be very comfortable using excel and google sheets).
* Meticulous attention to detail. A patient and thorough approach to ensure work is error-free.
* Organize & prioritize agency tasks in a project management platform like Notion or Monday.
* Create & execute process documents for key processes based on Zoom instructional videos.
* Report on ecommerce key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, conversion rate, average order value (AOV), return on ad spend (ROAS) – pulling numbers from Shopify and/or Google Analytics and populating in Google Sheets.
Secondary / Future Responsibilities: Would love to hear if you possess any of the skills listed below, but also happy to train / develop a VA to grow into these areas.
* Customize & design elevated Shopify websites using themes, editor and relevant apps.
* Manage & optimize campaigns for Google Ads and Facebook Ads.
* SEO optimizations
* Conversion rate optimization programs and execute test strategies.
* Create image, slideshow, and video ad creatives using Canva and video editing programs. Basic image editing.
* Basic development skills / understands code.
* Air Table and/or Zapier experience.
Requirements:
* Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
* Experience with Shopify and email platforms.
* Possess a strong sense of design, aesthetics, and branding. The ability to create visually appealing content (like email layouts) that reflects our clients’ elevated and clean brand guidelines.
* Passion for ecommerce and digital marketing! Possess a solid grasp of fashion and retail industries and a desire to learn.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team to achieve shared goals.
* Be a dedicated, full-time employee who is committed and excited to grow with our agency long-term.
* 40hrs a week. Flexible hours, but expect to work some overlap hours with our team in the PST timezone. We are based in Canada.
